Well I recollect calling the Airtel/Hutch service providers (hotline nos.) … during my 1st year … and we used to put up something like this

Us: Hello?

Service Proider [SP]: Hello. Sir, may i know your name please.

Us: We are in the middle of desert and my friend has lost his buffallo.

SP : M sorry sir.

Us: No.. no , You don’t get it. The buffallo had swallowed his mobile. And before he starts ruminating, we wondered if you could use a few of funky tracking technologies and locate it. We dont care about the cell phone/sim card .. just the buffallo.

SP : M sorry sir, cannot help you with that… you better register a LOST complaint with the Police.

Us : Its very important … it needs its medication … else it wont milk !!!

SP : M really sorry !

Us : Would you stop saying sorry … and get to work ASAP!

(If it was a she on the other end … and we usually made the calls after midnight… then )

Us: Its half past 1 in the night … and you still working?! … does your mother know? … wat u up2?! aren’t you worried?!

SP : Sir, I am sorry … but

Us: Please… I politely ask you to stop apologizing !

Well … used to b in hindi … with a specific accent put on … and used to be real fun ! … just came back to me when came across this !

On one of three streets tested in the Phoenix trial, the percentage of drivers who obeyed the 25 mph speed limit nearly doubled. But the effect wore off after a few months.
“Initially they were great,” said the Phoenix Police traffic coordinator, Officer Terry Sills. “Until people found out what they were.”
What they needed to do is paint some and put up a few real ones, and let the drivers gamble about whether ruining their car is worth the speeding. It wouldn’t save them as much money as going all-paint, but it sure beats their secondary plan of adding more police officers. They could even put up a police department-sponsored shocks & struts shops on each end of the street.
