At Audi … for Music nite… in my psenti Sem was ALL ALONE ! I know … even i felt wierd. After all, I had dreamed of a more enchanting wing experience during such times in my psenti sem or atleast was hoping that would have a girl friend by now ! People dancing … drops and streams of sweat trikling down their rhythmic jumping bodies and amongst the enormous chorus din… … with Live music ( which made best attempts to get on my nerves … though a few were decent) … all alone amongst a huge crowd …was a vicariously different experience in itself ! Thoughts kept hovering my scarcely populated head … Being alone has its own advantages…. no one questions you.  You aren’t answerable to anyone … and are completely responsible of your fate. None other than you can shape your fate. It gives a funny yet serious feeling of having control. But… then again … saw a couple … getting cozy ! Man wasn’t that sweet. Then there were a couple of friends … making mockery of already ” ____” Music club et al. Made it imperative for me to accept - What’s the use of doing and achieving what you wanted all ALONE … when you wouldn’t have any close known friends to appreciate and enjoy those few special moments. Though … you have to treat them… be responsible for their actions on few occasions, also lose something just to help them out of a ditch … But I guess its definitely worht the ordeal. Man … was so bored sitting all alone there ! Yet … i still wanna be All Alone !

Being alone has its own advantages…. no one questions you.  You aren’t answerable to anyone … and are completely responsible of your fate. None other than you can shape your fate. It gives a funny yet serious feeling of having control.

General  Motors REPLY TO BILL GATES At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates  reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated,  “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we  would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.”  In response to Bill’s comments, General Motors issued a press release  Stating: “If GM had developed technology like microsoft, we would all be  driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part,  esp 7th point and 10’th point): For no reason whatsoever, your car  would crash twice a day. Every time they repainted the lines in the  road, you would have to buy a new car. Occasionally your car would die  on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road,  close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows  before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your  car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to  reinstall the engine. Macintosh would make a car  that was powered  by  the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as  easy to  drive - but would ! run on only five percent of the  roads. The  oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by  a single “This Car Has Performed an Illegal Operation” warning light. 7.  The airbag system would ask “Are you sure?” before deploying. 8.  Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse  to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key  and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.  (Read CTR-ALT-DEL) 9. Every  time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all  over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as  the old car. 10. You’d have to press the “Start” button to turn the engine  off. ”

I bet freshers would love to have their Hostel as in the above pic ! Recruiting at CEL has been a bit different this semester. Contrary to how it used to happen previously ….this time around we began much early into the semester.Implying … we had to compete BITS Pilani, as I hear, has 37 departments, clubs and centres who (animating) pounce upon 1st yearites as if fresh meat … to recruit them in their respective …. I can just imagine … how profusely confusing it must be for them to make the choice… when seniors are hovering around you convincing you that they know you well and whats best for YOU ! when you have already had so many (cliched) “healthy interactions” with them :) Will let you know … if its a better ploy !
